The Breezin' Thru has been host to charter fishing trips on the bay for more than 75 years.
Originally commissioned by Capt. Harry Carter in 1949, the Breezin' Thru has been running charter fishing trips on the bay since then, and hasn't missed a season. In the 1950s, she was known as the Queen of her day, as she offered full meals and on-board refrigeration. The Breezin' Thru has continued that standard of excellence, and Capt. Tilghman goes to great lengths each winter and spring to maintain all of her original charm. The wide hull and low profile of the boat make for a comfortable ride, even in the choppiest of seas.
Breakfast is just the prelude to a day full of quality fishing for stripers, bluefish, and other fine catch. After fishing, we offer a gourmet lunch or dinner that features homemade crab cakes, freshly caught fish, pork tenderloin, and other fine seasonal dishes prepared on board. On the Breezin’ Thru, fishing and food combine to provide you with a truly authentic Chesapeake experience.
